Section 10(1) in The Delhi Plastic Bag (Manufacture, Sales and Usage) and Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 2000
(1)Whoever-(a)contravenes any provision of Chapter II and Chapter IV of this Act or fails to comply with any order or direction lawfully given to him under this Act shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than three months but which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to twenty five thousand rupees or with both;(b)contravenes any provision of Chapter III of this Act shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both.
