Section 29(a) in The Jawahar Lal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya Act, 1963
(a)shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, generally regulate and have the control of, and be responsible for, the maintenance of standard of teaching, research and examination of the Vishwa Vidyalaya and tor the requirements for obtaining degrees;
