Section 35(3) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(3)The University shall develop in programme of teaching, research and extension education keeping in view the needs of the State and shall provide appropriate technical support and consultative advice to the State Government Departments engaged in Agricultural, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary development work.
