Section 30(2) in The Orissa Co-operative Societies Rules, 1965
(2)Subject to the provisions of Section 20, voting shall be -(a)by show of hand in such manner as the person presiding over the meeting may direct unless a poll is demanded by at least one-tenth of the members present at the meeting;(b)by polling of votes to be taken by ballot subject to the provisions of the Bye-Laws, if any, in that regard, in case poll is demanded.
