Section 6(1) in Tamil Nadu Cultivating Tenants (Special Provisions) Act, 1984
(1)A cultivating tenant may deposit before the competent authority the instalment of rent due under sub-section (1) of section 5, on or before the respective dates specified therein and if the rent be payable in kind, the market value of the instalment on the date of deposit, to the account of the landlord.
