Section 4(2) in The Schedule of Rate for Forest Produce in Orissa Rules, 1977
(2)In measuring girth of timber and pole traction of one centimetre will be ignored.Explanation - For the purpose of this rule, timber means round timber which has not been squared or sawn in any way and whose birth at the out end is ninety centimetres or more and pole means timber whose girth at the butt end is less than ninety centimetres.Notes - In Explanation to Sub-rule (2) of Rule 4 the words "the rule" have been substituted for the word these rules vide Orissa Gazette, Extraordinary No. 242, dated 24-2-1978".
