Section 2(k) in Rajasthan Rural Development and Panchayati Raj State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1998
(k)"Substantive Appointment" means the an appointment made under the provisions of these Rules to substantive vacancy after due selection by any of the methods of recruitment laid down under these Rules and includes an appointment on probation or as a probationer followed by confirmation on completion of the probation period;
