Section 3 in Andhra Pradesh Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1968
3. Appointment of Estate officer:
- The Government may, by notification,-(a)appoint such persons, being Gazetted Officers of Government, [or officers of equivalent rank of corporate authority as they think fit, to be estate officers for the purpose of this Act ; and] [Substituted by Act 15 of 1986.](b)define the local limits within which, or the categories of public premises in respect of which, each estate officer shall exercise the powers conferred, and perform the duties imposed, on estate officer by or under this Act.
