Section 5 in The Orissa Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1969
5. President and Vice-President.
(1)The members of the Council shall elect a Vice-President from among themselves.(2)The President may resign his office by writing under his hand addressing to the State Government and shall be deemed to have vacated office on such resignation being accepted by the State Government:Provided that the President shall on such vacation of office, also be deemed to have ceased to be a member of the Council.(3)The Vice-President may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Council and shall be deemed to have vacated office on such resignation being accepted by the Council at a meeting.
