State of Jammu-Kashmir - Subsection

Section 27(3)(a) in Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act, 1969

(a)[Each of the Faculties of Arts] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1970.], Science, Social Sciences, Education and Commerce shall consist of-
(i)the Professors and Readers of the University Departments [ comprising the Faculty] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1970 for the words 'comprised in the Faculty' and 'knowledge in the subject' wherever occurring.] ;
(ii)such Principals of constituent and affiliated colleges of the University concerned as are qualified to teach any subject[ comprising the each Faculty] [ Substituted by Act VIII of 1970 for the words 'comprised in the Faculty' and 'knowledge in the subject' wherever occurring.] ;
(iii)Head of the Department of the constituent colleges, if any, not lower in rank than that of Professors representing each subject [ comprising the each Faculty] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1970 for the words 'comprised in the Faculty' and 'knowledge in the subject' wherever occurring.] ;
(iv)Head of the Department of the affiliated colleges, if any, not lower in rank than that of Professor representing each subject [ comprising the each Faculty] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1970 for the words 'comprised in the Faculty' and 'knowledge in the subject' wherever occurring.] ;
(v)Two persons other than teachers nominated to the faculty by the Academic Council prossessing expert [ knowledge of the subject] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1970 for the words 'comprised in the Faculty' and 'knowledge in the subject' wherever occurring.] [ comprising the Faculty.] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1970 for the words 'comprised in the Faculty' and 'knowledge in the subject' wherever occurring.]
