Section 12(2)(a) in Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gujarat Act, 2010

(a)There shall be a Search Committee constituted by the State Government consisting of three members, to be nominated by the State Government to recommend suitable names, for appointment of Vice-Chancellor. The member of the Search Committee shall be from any one or more of the following categories, namely:
(i)an eminent educationist;
(ii)a retired Judge of the High Court of Gujarat;
(iii)a retired Chief Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary of the Government of Gujarat;
