Section 32(2) in Himachal Pradesh Municipal Election Rules, 2015
(2)The Commission shall appoint Returning Officer in respect of elections for the municipalities:Provided that the Commission may appoint as many Assistant Returning Officers as may be necessary to perform all or any of the duties of the Returning Officer in respect of each municipality.
