Section 1 in Karnataka Public Safety (Measures) Enforcement Act, 2017
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Public Safety (Measures) Enforcement Act, 2017.(2)It extends to the whole areas of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike and other Corporations constituted under the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976, and to such other areas and places as may be identified and notified by the State Government from time to time.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
