Section 5(b) in Rules for the Departmental Examination of the Assistant Controllers of Accounts and Deputy Controllers of Accounts Finance (Audit) Department, 1963
(b)No Assistant Controller of Accounts will be eligible for promotion to the post of Deputy Controller of Accounts until he has passed the Departmental Examination in all subjects by higher standard.
