Section 3 in 60 years of the Parliament of India, Rules, 2012

3. Standard weight and remedy allowed:

- The Standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined to commemorate the occasion of "60 years of the Parliament of India", under the provisions of section 4 of the Coinage Act, 2011, (11 of 2011) and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the following Table, namely: -Table

Five Rupees 6 Grams 1/100thplus or minus for Copper andZinc, that is to say, Copper could vary from 74% to 76% and Zincfrom 19% to 21% and 1/200thplus or minus for Nickelthat is to say Nickel could vary from 4.5% to 5.5%. 1/40thplus or minus that is to say,the weight could vary from 5.85 grams to 6.15 grams.
