Section 20 in Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University Act, 2019
20. Executive Council.
(1)The Executive Council shall be the principal executive body of the University, which shall be headed by the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be its ex-officio Member and Chairperson.(2)The Executive Council shall consist of the following ex-officio members, namely:-(i)Administrative Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Sports and Youth Services;(ii)Administrative Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Finance;(iii)Administrative Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Higher Education; and(iv)Director Sports, Punjab.In addition to the ex-officio members, other members of the Executive Council, their term of office, powers and duties shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
