Section 14 in The M.P. Riverine Fisheries Rules, 1972
14. Prohibition of sale of fish.
(1)No person shall offer or expose for sale or barter any fish caught in contravention of these rules.(2)The Licensing Authority or [the Fishery Officer not below the rank of Fishery Inspector] [Inserted by Notification No. 1146-3385-XIV-Vety-75, dated 14-4-1977.] shall have right to check the fish in fish market if brought for sale in contravention of these rules.
