45. Procedure before the Court.
(1)The procedure for obtaining an Adoption Order from the court concerned would be as provided in Adoption Regulations.(2)The Court, for the purpose of an application for adoption order, shall not be bound by the procedure laid down in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908) and Evidence Act, 1872. The procedure, as laid down in the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Adoption Regulations shall be followed.
