Section 1 in The M.P. Nagariya Sthawar Sampatti Kar Adhiniyam, 1964
1. Short title, extent, commencement and application.
(1)This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Nagariya Sthawar Sampatli Kar Adhiniyam, 1964.(2)It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the first day of April, 1964.(4)It shall apply to all urban areas having population of ten thousand and above according to last census which the State Government, shall, by notification, specify.
