Section 155 in Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, 1988
155. Purpose for which lands may be acquired for a joint farming society.
- For the purpose of the proviso to section 102, land may be acquired forthe following purposes, namely;-(i)sinking of a well or provision of irrigation facility; or(ii)construction of a godown or cattle shed; or(iii)rounding off the holding for the purpose of effective cultivation of the lands pooled by the members of the society.
