Section 24(2) in National Law University of Uttarakhand Act, 2011
(2)The selection committee shall consist of the following members; namely:-(a)the Vice Chancellor who shall be Chairman of the Committee;(b)the Head of the Department concerned, if any who is not lower in rank than that of the post for which selection is to be made;(c)(i)where an appointment is to be made for any teaching post, three experts nominated by the Vice Chancellor from amongst a panel of names recommended by the Academic Council and approved by the Executive Council;(ii)where an appointment is to be made to any post other than concerned with teaching, three experts in the field of the Universitys administration to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor from amongst a panel of names recommended by the Executive Council.
