Section 24(1) in The West Bengal Co-Operative Societies Act, 1983
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules, the final authority of a co-operative society shall vest in the general body of its members in general meeting :Provided that in such circumstances as may be prescribed, the final authority may vest in the delegates of such members elected in the prescribed manner and assembled in general meeting.
