(a)All machinery and plant, particularly pipe lines and belt drives, on which static electricity is likely to accumulate, shall be effectively earthed. Receptacles for inflammable liquids shall have metallic connections to the earthed supply tanks to prevent static sparking. Where necessary, humidity shall be controlled.(b)Mobile tank wagons shall be earthed during filling and discharge, and precautions shall be taken to ensure that earthling is effective before such filling or discharge takes place.
