Section 26(1) in First Statutes of the Jai Narayan Vyas University Jodhpur
(1)Any member of the Senate, the Syndicate or the Academic Council may be removed by a resolution of the Senate, the Syndicate or the Academic Council as the case may be, passed by a majority of not less than two-thirds of its members on either of the following grounds, namely:-(i)the officer has become incapable of performing his duties, and(ii)the officer has been convicted by a court of law of an offence which, in the opinion of the Senate, the Syndicate or the Academic Council, as the case may be, involves moral turpitude.
