6. Definition of income.
- Monthly income of both the parents i.e. father and mother or guardian in case the parents are not alive, means the gross earnings from self employment in the form of pay, Special Pay, Personal Pay, Deputation Pay, Allowances and Honoraria, Over time allowance, Pension etc. and or in the form of rent from property, Interest from Securities, shares, dividends, money lending, profits from business, trade, agriculture, farming, profession and vocation etc.The following will, however, be excluded from the total income:-(a)House Rent allowance(b)Travelling allowance(c)Conveyance allowance granted on the condition on maintaining conveyance.(d)Messing allowance(e)Washing allowance(f)Compensatory allowance etc.
