Section 18 in The Karnataka General Clauses Act, 1899
18. Successors.
(1)In [any Mysore Act or Karnataka Act] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973] made after the commencement of this Act, it shall be sufficient, for the purpose of indicating the relation of a law to the successors of any functionaries or of corporations having perpetual succession to express its relation to the functionaries or corporations.(2)This section applies also to all enactments made after the third day of January 1868.
