Section 18(1) in The Karnataka General Clauses Act, 1899
(1)In [any Mysore Act or Karnataka Act] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973] made after the commencement of this Act, it shall be sufficient, for the purpose of indicating the relation of a law to the successors of any functionaries or of corporations having perpetual succession to express its relation to the functionaries or corporations.
