19. The Deans of Faculties.
(1)There shall be a Dean for each constituent college who shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Management Council. The senior most Dean shall be designated as the Faculty Dean.(2)The Dean shall be a full-time salaried officer of the University.(3)The qualification and other conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(4)The Faculty Dean shall be the Chairman of the Board of Studies of the Faculty or Faculties under him.Chapter - V Authorities of the University
