15. The Proctor.
(1)The Proctor shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor for such period and in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)The Proctor shall be responsible for the maintenance of discipline among the students and keep the various students' unions ad-vised of the various policies and practices in the University.(3)The Proctor shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
