41. Penalty for defacing or destroying plate, badge or table of fares.
(1)Every person who willfully tears, destroys, defaces, obliterates, or removes any plate, list of fares, table of distances, or driver's badge kept under the provisions of this Act, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty rupees.(2)Any portion of the fine may be awarded to the person to whom such plate, list of fares, table of distances, or driver's badge belongs.
