Section 7(7) in The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum & Electricity Ombudsman) Regulations, 2006
7.2Notwithstanding anything contained in Regulation 7.1, there shall be no obligation to give to any Person,-(a)information including commercial confidence, trade secrets or intellectual property, the disclosure of which would harm the competitive position of a third party, unless the Forum is satisfied that larger public interest warrants the disclosure of such information; or(b)information which would impede the process of investigation or apprehension or prosecution of offenders.
