Section 10(1) in The U.P. Board of Revenue Office, Class IV Service Rules, 1973
(1)A candidate for direct recruitment must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the first day of January of the year in which the recruitment is made, provided that an ex-service man be recruited up to the age of 40 years.
