Section 12(2)(c) in The Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University Act, 2003

(c)Notwithstanding anything contained in clauses (a) and (b), where a vacancy occurs in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall continue to hold his office till such vacancy is filled and on the vacancy being so filed, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall cease to hold his office.
