(2)(a)The term of office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be coterminus with that of the Vice-Chancellor.(b)Subject to the provisions of clause (a), he shall be eligible for appointment to that office for a further term.(c)Notwithstanding anything contained in clauses (a) and (b), where a vacancy occurs in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall continue to hold his office till such vacancy is filled and on the vacancy being so filed, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall cease to hold his office.
