(1)The Municipality shall, -(a)Take measures for lighting, in a suitable manner, such public streets, public places, squares, parks, gardens, municipal markets and properties of the Municipality, as may be specified by it;(b)Procure, erect and maintain such number of lamps, lamp posts and other appurtenance, as may be necessary for the purpose as aforesaid; and(c)Cause such lamps to be lighted by appropriate means.
