Section 242A in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994
242A. Application of this Part.
(1)The provisions of this Part shall apply to the Gram Panchayats, [Mandal Praja Parishads] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishads' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] and [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishads' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] constituted in the Scheduled Areas in the State.(2)The provisions of this Part shall prevail over anything inconsistent therewith elsewhere in this Act.
