(1)References in this Act to colonies shall be construed as including references to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man; and in its application to those Islands this Act shall have effect as if references to the Governor included references to the Lieutenant-Governor.(2)A citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies may, if on the ground of his connection with the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man he so desires, be known as a citizen of the United Kingdom, Islands Colonies.
