6. Constitution of Committee of PGECET.
- The Competent Authority shall constitute the PGECET Committee to deal with the matters connected with the test.The Committee shall consist of the following(i)Chairperson, who shall be the Vice-Chancellor of any University nominated by the Competent authority for each academic year for the purpose of conducting PGECET.(ii)One representative from each of the Universities to be nominated by the Competent Authority in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor concerned.(iii)Representative of Higher Education Department in Government not below the rank of Deputy Secretary dealing with the subject.(iv)One representative of APSCHE nominated by the Competent Authority.(v)Convener of the PGECET of the preceding year(vi)Convener, who shall be of the rank of a Professor of the University concerned to be appointed by the Competent Authority in consultation with Chairperson of the Committee of PGECET.(vii)One Principal of a Private Engineering including Technology/Pharmacy/ Architecture and Planning College, which opts to be governed by the PGECET, to be nominated by the Competent Authority for each academic year by turn.
