4. Objects of the University.
- The University shall be deemed to have been established and incorporated for the purposes, among others, of -(a)making provision for the education of the rural people of Uttar Pradesh in differnt branches of study, particularly agricultutre, rural industry and business and other allied Subjects;(b)furthering the execution of research, particularly in agriculture and other allied sciences; and(c)undertaking field and extension programmes.
