Section 1 in The U.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004
1. Short title, commencement and interpretation.
(1)These regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004.(2)These shall come into force and apply to the State of Uttar Pradesh from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.(3)These extend to the State of Uttar Pradesh.(4)The Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (Act 1 of 1904) shall apply to the interpretation of these regulations.
