Section 2(1)(g) in The Bangalore Metro Railway (General) Rules, 2011

(g)"Authorised Officer" means an officer of the Bangalore Metro Railway administration who is duly empowered by general or special order of the Bangalore Metro Railway administration, either by name or by virtue of his office, to issue instructions;
