Section 1 in Himachal Pradesh Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development Banks Act, 1979
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Himachal Pradsesh Co-operative [Agriculture and Rural] [The word 'Land' substituted vide Act No. 16 of 1987 effective w.e.f. 16-13-87.] Development Banks Act, 1979.(2)It extends to whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act came in to force w.e.f. 15-11-197.9 vide Not. No. 7-41/79-11 Co-op(s)-II dated 14-11-1979 published in R.H.p. Extra dated 19-11-1979 p. 2511.] as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
