Section 18(4) in The U.P. Co-operative Societies Act, 1965
(4)(a)Any individual including a minor who is a seasonal or temporary worker or apprentice in the business of the society or who is otherwise interested in such business may be admitted as an associate member.(b)An associate member shall not be eligible for the membership of the committee of management nor have a right to share in the profits otherwise than as wages and bonus.
