Section 10(5) in The Assam Finance Service Rules, 1963
(5)A candidate shall be-(a)of sound health, both mentally and physically and free from organic defects or bodily infirmities likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties; and(b)required to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.
