Section 29(1) in Kerala Town and Country Planning Act, 2016
(1)In case the Government vary the area of jurisdiction of a Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council or Town Panchayat as provided under Section 4 of the Kerala Municipality Act, 1994 or of a Village Panchayat as provided under Section 4 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act 1994 as the case maybe the Local Planning Area shall stand modified accordingly.
