29. Variations in the Local Planning Area.
(1)In case the Government vary the area of jurisdiction of a Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council or Town Panchayat as provided under Section 4 of the Kerala Municipality Act, 1994 or of a Village Panchayat as provided under Section 4 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act 1994 as the case maybe the Local Planning Area shall stand modified accordingly.(2)The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that all or any of the rules, regulations, bye-laws, orders and directions made or issued and powers conferred and in force in a Local Planning Area at the time, with such exceptions, adaptations and modifications as may be considered necessary by the Government, shall apply to the area modified under sub-section (1) and such rules, bye-laws. orders, directions and powers shall forthwith apply to such Local Planning Area without further publication.
