19. Temporary vacancy in the office of the Registrar, the Finance officer.
(1)In the event of suspension or temporary absence of the Registrar or the Finance officer, the Chancellor may authorise any other suitable officer of the University to perform the duties of the Registrar or the Finance officer, as the case may be.(2)Pending appointment of a suitable officer to fill the vacancy in the office of the Registrar or the Finance officer, the Vice-Chancellor may in his discretion authorise any officer to perform the duties of such vacant post till appointment is made. The Vice-Chancellor shall immediately report the action taken by him under this sub-section to the Government.
