Section 53(1) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003
(1)The candidate who polled the highest number of votes shall be declared elected as member of Territorial Constituency or President of Water Users Association, as the case may be, after recording the results of counting in Form-23.
