53. Declaration of results of election.
(1)The candidate who polled the highest number of votes shall be declared elected as member of Territorial Constituency or President of Water Users Association, as the case may be, after recording the results of counting in Form-23.(2)Once the counting of votes and declaration of results of elected candidates in all the Territorial Constituencies is completed as detailed in Form-24, the list j of candidates elected shall be recorded in Form-25 for members and Presidents and exhibit it on the Notice Board of the office of the Returning Officer.
