Section 33(1) in New Town Kolkata Planning Area (Building) Rules, 2014
(1)Building Services :-(a)the planning design and installation of electrical fittings, air-conditioning and heating work, installation of lifts and escalators shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the National Building Code of India. For electrical aspects of building services, the provisions of the National Electrical Code shall apply;(b)the number of type of lifts to be provided in different buildings shall be as specified in the National Building Code of India.
